There are many ways to use AI in the real world. For example, it is often used to design and build self-driving machines to help people do hard, dangerous, or repetitive tasks. In addition, there are many ways to use AI, such as chatbots and navigation systems. Even though there is still a long way to go before using these technologies to make personal recommendations, the field is moving forward quickly. This technology could make people's lives easier by giving them personalized suggestions based on how they've used things in the past.

AI improves the performance and productivity of businesses because it can learn from data on its own. AI can do things automatically that used to be done by people, like processing large amounts of data. With these skills, AI can understand and analyze data in ways someone could never do. In the end, this increased productivity gives companies a lot of benefits. One example is Netflix, which uses machine learning to make sure that its customers' videos are more relevant to them. In 2017, its customer base grew by 25% because of this.

AI has come a long way since the first intelligent robots appeared in ancient Greek myths, but the idea of AI has been around for a much longer time. "Artificial intelligence" was first used in 1950 by Alan Turing, known as the "father of computer science." In his work, Turing came up with the Turing Test, which asks a human to tell the difference between a human text response and one from a machine. Even though this test has been looked at since then, it is still an essential part of the history of AI.

AI is a field that is always getting better. A recent AI conference at Dartmouth College predicted the growth of artificial intelligence made by humans and got a lot of support from the government and business worlds. Since then, AI has taken some necessary steps forward. For example, while Newell and Simon's GPS algorithm couldn't solve complex problems, McCarthy's Lisp programming language and Joseph Weizenbaum's ELIZA natural language processing program paved the way for chatbots.

AI affects many parts of society, including the economy and the law. Right now, the main topic of research is how AI will affect society and the economy. Robotics, automated trading and the power grid are just a few places where AI is used. AI can help people, but it could also be used to make weapons that kill people. So, AI research needs to deal with these problems and ensure the technology is suitable for everyone.

DeepMind Technologies made a neural network that can behave like a person's short-term memory. Since then, this technology has been used in self-driving cars. In the auto industry, this technology is becoming more and more popular. AI is still in its early stages, but more businesses will soon use it to solve problems. Gartner thinks that by the end of 2025, half of all companies will have AI platforms in place.

AI projects are expensive, hard to build, and need experts with many skills. As with any other technology, businesses should consider when and where to use AI in their systems. For example, the Associated Press found that putting AI into its news system had led to 12 times more short stories about a company's earnings than when the journalists used human writers. In turn, this made the journalists more productive, which let them write more in-depth stories.

Many people in science and technology are worried about the dangers of AI that are better than humans, but they think that time is still a long way off. People concerned by the risks have said that safety research should start immediately. But many of these problems are very hard to solve and may take decades. This means that if technology gets smarter than people, it will change how people live on Earth.

Narrow AI, also called "weak AI," is the best way to make AI happen. Narrow AI can be used for specific tasks, like diagnosing medical conditions and running computer search engines. Narrow AI has made a big difference in the economic health of countries. It could make a big difference in people's lives and society. However, the technical data infrastructure that supports this technology is critical to its progress. Artificial intelligence is a growing and complicated area of study.

AI can be used in many different parts of a business. For example, AI applications can often make businesses more efficient, give customers a more personalized experience, and help companies to do better. Because of these things, AI is a strategic must for many companies.
